The Täkt TSJ-06 was designed with performance and comfort features made famous by the French saddlers and combined with the highest quality construction standards and fit of English saddles.
The TSJ-06 options include buttery soft calf skin giving the rider a grippy feel through the leg and moulded knee pad. Additional performance features include a luxuriously soft, supportive and secure seat, fully customizable thigh and calf blocks, and a leather “wear strip” on the flap.
This saddle is built on a laminated beechwood tree with a wide gullet minimizing pressure on the horse's spine and a wide panel bearing surface allowing for even weight distribution along the horse's back. Wool flocked panels are standard and recommended; however, custom foam panels are an option.
Other customizable features include the forward flap design (the flap can be adjusted up to an additional 1.5” more forward), front and rear gusset depths, and fixed or Velcro knee and calf blocks. A fixed knee block and no calf block is standard; however, Velcro knee and calf blocks are an option, as is adding a fixed calf block.
